A brilliant dog friendly small hotel with additional self catering accommodation. Dogs are permitted in some of the bedrooms and the bar is dog friendly where meals can be taken. The early bird dinner served between 5pm and 6.15pm is particularly good value, well prepared and presented, and delicious. The bar is the social hub of the village where visitors are made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to stay on a visit to this particular area.

Very welcoming dog friendly coffee shop serving a variety of tasty fayre at very reasonable prices. The coffee shop has amazing interior decor reflecting the owner’s passions – loved the Wall of LPs and the speedway memorabilia, and also the quirky potbellied wood burning stove. Cash only – no cards accepted.

Very welcoming dog friendly inn serving traditional pub fayre at reasonable prices. The inn also has some dog friendly accommodation. Owners Hazel and Peter were very hospitable, happy to chat and provide much useful local information.

Lovely dog friendly tearoom located close to the picturesque ruined abbey. 3 tables inside the tearoom have been allocated for use by customers with dogs. Delicious selection of light meals and sweet treats. An ideal place to stop off at for post walk refreshments.

Nice dog friendly cafe located close to the 7Stanes mountain biking centre. Enjoyed a freshly prepared cooked breakfast whilst the dogs enjoyed their dog treats. Great service and reasonable prices. The cafe is open Thursday to Sunday – cash only.
