Recently spent a week in Northumberland based in Lesbury village. Coach Inn was the local pub and extremely welcoming. Dogs allowed in bar area though not in restaurant. Same food was served in bar and was excellent. There was also seating outside. Locals and their dogs use the pub and they were all very friendly. We have a big dog and this can be an issue in some places but the Coach was very accommodating. Will definitely be going back to the area on holiday again.
